McMinn County Soil & Water Conservation District

conserving resources across mcMinn county

The McMinn County Soil & Water Conservation District serves McMinn County, Tennessee by developing and directing locally driven natural resource conservation programs. Guided by a five‑member Board of Supervisors and supported by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, the district provides conservation education, technical assistance, and cost‑share opportunities to farmers and landowners. Through partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies, the district promotes responsible land stewardship, erosion control, and sustainable management of soil and water resources.

One acre at a time

We work with landowners to implement Best Management Practices, where financial assistance is available to adopt conservation practices on their farm. By tying each project to its watershed, we maximize the community impact of conservation efforts.

growing today, preserving tomorrow

Our conservation efforts benefit our county’s farms and communities alike. Donate here to support conservation efforts that will directly enhance McMinn County for years to come.
